Families United is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS)  to operate a Residential Group Home, Mental Health Skill Building , Intensive In-Home, and Outpatient/Crisis Stabilization Program.

INTENSIVE IN-HOME

It is the mission of Families United LLC to promote diverse programming and comprehensive continuum of care which will enhance the quality of life for individuals receiving services.

We work with families to create supportive, independent housing for adults with developmental disabilities. Our desire is to help each client acquire the skillls and knowledge needed to actively participate in the community as much as he or she chooses.  Our goal is to assist clients in developing a vision of his or her future and, then assist in achieving that vision in the future. 

​MENTAL HEALTH SKILL BUILDING​

Our goal is to help clients become more independent, recognize potential, and overcome difficulities through repetition of skill based interventions in their home and communities.  Families United works with providers, clients and their families to produce a greater continuity of care, reduce unwanted behavioral symptoms, and increase the probability of adults remaining in their homes.
